Unfinished Samus

I dropped this drawing for many reasons. The major reasons being the static and non-dynamic pose and the colors. This was meant to be done fairly quickly but something I spent too much time trying to get the damn colors looking right. The colored pencils hardly brought any depth to her orange suit and Ridley's colors took too much ink and just became dark and difficult to see the smaller details. Eh, I'll try try again. I'll most likely go digital for the next one, especially since I don't have many orange shades from my markers and pencils. The best thing about this picture is the beam cannon's blast, looks colorful.
